Tikehau Airport is located on the Southern tip of the atoll. There are daily flights to and from Tahiti and other atolls of the Tuamotus. Flight time from Tahiti is 55 minutes in modern turboprop planes. Roads exist only within the village. Otherwise, all transportation by boat.
