The IRWD San Joaquin Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary is a hidden gem nestled in the city of Irvine, California. This 300-acre wetland is home to over 200 species of birds and offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The sanctuary is managed by the Irvine Ranch Water District and is a vital part of the city’s natural water purification system.
