Visit Suphanburi

The Suphanburi province of Thailand is an important historical and cultural centre, and makes for a great tourist destination. It is located in the central region of Thailand, about 100 km north of Bangkok.

Two popular tourist attractions in Suphanburi are the Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat temple and the Don Chedi Monument. The Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat temple is a centuries-old site that houses some incredible Buddha statues. The Don Chedi Monument commemorates a major battle fought in 1827 between the Thai forces led by King Rama II, and an invading Burmese army.

Suphanburi also has many interesting historical sights like the ancient city wall with guard towers, which were built some 600 years ago during the Ayutthaya period. And if you're looking for something offbeat, check out the Baan Tha Kha Floating Market just outside town - it's a unique way to see how locals shop and eat!
