Visit Saraburi

Saraburi is a province located in central Thailand, about 80 kilometers northeast of Bangkok. It is bordered by Nakhon Nayok, Lopburi, Chaiyaphum and Nakhon Ratchasima provinces. The landscape varies from mountains to plains and is home to several national parks; the most popular being Khao Yai National Park.

The province has a rich history that stretches back almost 500 years and visitors can explore many archaeological sites such as Wat Phra Non Temple, Muang Kaew Cave Temples, Kunpin Buri Ruins and the Buddha Footprint Shrine. Additionally, there are numerous natural attractions including waterfalls like Huay Mak Luang Falls and Hin Dat Hot Springs. Saraburi serves as an ideal base for exploring nearby sites such as Lopburi Zoo or floating markets in Ayutthaya province.

An interesting fact about Saraburi's history is that it was chosen by King Narai to be one of his royal palaces during the 17th century due to its mountainous terrain providing plenty of security against potential threats at the time.
