Visit Samut Sakhon


Samut Sakhon is a province located just outside of Bangkok, Thailand. This coastal province features beautiful green landscapes and stunning beaches, making it a popular destination for tourists. A must-see attraction in Samut Sakhon is the Mahachai Market, which has been in operation since 1873 and offers an abundance of fresh seafood and unique souvenirs. Visitors can also explore the historical Suan Chitralada Palace complex, dating back to 1880, and admire its classic Thai architecture.

Another interesting site to visit is the ancient Wat Khaek temple that overlooks a canal connecting the Mae Khlong River with the Gulf of Thailand.This temple was built during Ayutthaya period in 1682 as part of King Thaisa's military defense system against enemy invasion. Tourists can also take boat trips along this canal to view traditional wooden houses built on stilts along the waterway which serves as home to many local fishermen living off their catch from nearby waters.
