Visit Ratchaburi

Ratchaburi is a province in central Thailand, located west of Bangkok. It is known for its natural beauty, with green mountains and winding rivers. Ratchaburi also has a rich cultural heritage, as it was the birthplace of several historical figures such as King Naresuan the Great.

Popular tourist attractions in Ratchaburi include the Photharam District's Khun Dan Prakan Chon Dam and Amphoe Sangkhlaburi's Kaeng Song Waterfall. These are great spots to take in the stunning scenery and take part in activities like kayaking and fishing. Tourists can also visit some of the ancient temples scattered around Ratchaburi such as Wat Mahathat Worawihan or explore local markets like Tha Kha Floating Market for some delicious Thai food.

An interesting historical fact about Ratchaburi is that it was one of only three provinces never conquered by Burmese forces during their attempted invasion of Siam (now Thailand). The other two provinces were Ayutthaya and Sukhothai, which are now both popular tourist destinations.
